ROMEWORKSTindero

Tindero Privacy Policy

Effective 20 October 2026

Tindero is an app for small stores to sell, keep track of products and stock, and keep a list of what customers owe (utang). It is made by Romeworks. This policy explains what happens to the information you put into it.

The short version: your store's records stay on your phone. Romeworks has no servers for this app and never receives your records. If you turn on backup, a copy goes to your own Google Drive, where only Tindero can read it.

What you keep in the app

Everything you enter or the app records for you is saved in the app's private storage on your phone:

Tindero has no accounts and no sign-in with Romeworks. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

The camera

Tindero uses the camera to read barcodes, to recognize items without a barcode, and to read the name on a product's label. The pictures are processed on your phone. A picture is saved only when it becomes a product photo, and it stays on your phone (and in your backup, if you use one).

Barcode and label reading use Google's ML Kit, which runs on the phone. ML Kit may send Google technical information such as the phone model, app version and how fast it ran, as described in Google's ML Kit data disclosure. Google Play services may download the label-reading model to your phone.

Backup to your Google Drive (Tindero Plus)

Backup is off until you turn it on in Settings and choose a Google account. When it is on:

To stop backups, tap Stop backing up in the app. To delete the backup itself, open Google Drive on the web, go to Settings, then Manage apps, find Tindero, and choose Delete hidden app data. You can remove Tindero's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections.

Tindero's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Tindero uses its Drive access only to save and restore your own backup.

Purchases

Tindero Plus is bought through Google Play. Google handles the payment; Romeworks does not receive your payment details. The app receives only Google Play's confirmation that Plus was bought on your Google account, and keeps that on your phone.

Android's own backup

If your phone's Google backup is turned on, Android may include Tindero's data in it so it comes back when you reinstall or move to a new phone. That backup is made and stored by Google, under your Google account.

Error reports

If Tindero stops because of an error, it saves a technical report on your phone and shows it the next time you open the app. The report contains the phone model, Android version and where in the app the error happened, not your store's records. It leaves your phone only if you copy it and send it to us yourself.

Permissions

Sharing

Romeworks does not sell, rent or share your information with anyone, because it never has it. The Google services above work under Google's privacy policy.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your records stay on your phone until you delete them in the app or uninstall Tindero, which removes them from the phone. A Drive backup stays in your Google Drive until you delete it as described above.

Children

Tindero is a tool for store owners and is not directed at children.

Changes

If Tindero starts handling information in a new way, for example with an online sync service, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
